Muslim Society of Guelph is proud to announce the successful winning of our BID for the purchase of the
Guelph Community Christian School for our new home. It is indeed a pleasure to inform you that we will
have a new location for all our community. I'm personally writing to you because you have been our
community for such a long time and I am truly happy to share this great news with you. The new location
is in centre of the city and accessible easily from every part of town.

Current View of School Property
We were looking for a new place for the mosque in a central location for quite a long time. A lot of our
community members have to travel all the way from new sub divisions at the corners of the City which is
time consuming. When the Executive Committee of MSOG first saw this location, it was ideal and fit in our
plans of expansion. This location will give us plenty of prayer space and much more parking space than we
currently have. This purchase is the first step in establishing new community centre. We will require your
continued help to make the centre a success for our community and most importantly for our children..
Many of you are demanding that we start an Islamic School for the city of Guelph for long time. We finally
have the opportunity and the right place and therefore MSOG Executive Committee has decided to start the
process for this full time Islamic School in addition to weekend and after school programs. This new location
has 11 Classrooms and every classroom is same size as our current Mosque. There is an adjacent field for
activities and play area for the kids.
